European Parliament – Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) will hold a structured dialogue on 9 November 2015 with Commissioner Oettinger in order to go over the digital economy priorities for 2016.

The Commission’s work programme for next year includes a large-scale review of the EU’s telecoms rules, a legislative proposal on the free flow of data, action on copyright, geo-blocking, audio-visual services, and ICT standards, and the launch of a cybersecurity public-private partnership.
